Piazzola sul Brenta is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,117 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers north-northwest of Padua and about 16 kilometers east of Vicenza on the western bank of the Brenta . Piazzola sul Brenta borders directly on the province of Vicenza .
