Rubano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 16,689 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located with its main town about 7 kilometers west of Padua and about 25 kilometers southeast of Vicenza . The Brentella, a tributary of the Brenta, flows east of the municipality .

Rubano itself is on Strada Regionale 11 Padana Superiore. The district of Bosco is located a little south of the A4 autostrada from Turin to Trieste . However, there is no connection. The nearest train station is in Mestrino, on the Padua-Vicenza railway line, which also runs through the municipality.
