Villa del Conte is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5604 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located about 19 kilometers north of Padua on the Tergola .

history

The first documentary mention goes back to the year 1085, when large estates were given to the monastery of Santa Eufemia di Villanova . The monastery was located in what is now Abbazia Pisani . The church of St. Maximus in the small village of Borghetto dates from the 10th and 11th. Century.
