Montagnana is a city in the province of Padua in the Italian region of Veneto with 8937 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

The neighboring towns are Borgo Veneto , Casale di Scodosia , Urbana , Bevilacqua and Pojana Maggiore .

The local specialty is the Dolce di Montagnana , at least twelve months and with bearing the DOP seal -provided prosciutto , which for Parma ham differs mainly by its slight sweetness and its fine marbling.

Montagnana is a member of the I borghi più belli d'Italia association (The Most Beautiful Places in Italy).
