Mestrino is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,610 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located about 10 kilometers northwest of Padua city ​​center on the Medoacus, a tributary of the Brenta . Mestrino borders directly on the province of Vicenza .

The former Strada Statale 11 Padana Superiore , which has now been downgraded to a regional road , runs through the municipality from Vicenza to Padua. A section of the A4 Autostrada (Turin-Trieste) also runs through the municipality, but it has no connection. There is a train station on the Milano – Venezia railway line.
