Bagnoli di Sopra is an Italian commune with 3458 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in the Veneto region . The municipality is located 39 km south of the provincial capital Padua and 75 km southwest of Venice .
Neighboring municipalities are: Agna , Anguillara Veneta , Arre , Conselve and Tribano .
People already settled in the area of the municipality of Bagnoli di Sopra in Roman times. In the Middle Ages, the Benedictines founded a monastery in the village. The place is dominated by agriculture; The main products produced are wheat, rapeseed, barley, corn, soy and sugar beet.
The church of San Michele is worth seeing. The origin of the church goes back to the year 954, from 1424 it was rebuilt. From 1662 the church was rebuilt after a partial demolition. The Oratorio di San Daniele was built in 1474. The construction of the Villa Widmann began in 1647. The Palazzetto Widmann was built from 1707 onwards.
