Colli Euganei (wine)

The Colli Euganei (Eng. "The Euganean Hills") are a wine-growing region in the province of Padua , Veneto region , Italy . The hilly area southwest of Padua has enjoyed the status of a Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC for short) since August 18, 1969 . The last update was published on March 7, 2014.

Growing area

Cultivation and vinification may be carried out in the province of Padua in the following municipalities: Arquà Petrarca , Galzignano Terme and Torreglia ; parts of the following municipalities also belong to the cultivation area: Abano Terme , Montegrotto Terme , Battaglia Terme , Due Carrare , Monselice , Baone , Este , Cinto Euganeo , Lozzo Atestino , , Rovolon , Cervarese Santa Croce , Teolo and Selvazzano Dentro .

In 2017, 32,663 hectoliters of DOC wine were produced.
