Colli di Conegliano is a wine-growing region in the Veneto region , Italy . The area bordering the city of Conegliano from west to north-west lies on the orographic left side of the Piave river and has enjoyed the status of a “controlled designation of origin ” ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since August 3, 1993 , last modified on March 7, 2014 has been updated. In 2011 the area was upgraded to a DOCG appellation ( Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita = “controlled and guaranteed designation of origin”).
