Colli di Conegliano
Colli di Conegliano is a wine-growing region in the Veneto region , Italy . The area bordering the city of Conegliano from west to north-west lies on the orographic left side of the Piave river and has enjoyed the status of a “controlled designation of origin ” ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since August 3, 1993 , last modified on March 7, 2014 has been updated. In 2011 the area was upgraded to a DOCG appellation ( Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita = “controlled and guaranteed designation of origin”). The last change to the production regulations is dated March 7, 2014.

The approved vineyards for
- the “Colli di Conegliano” wines of the “white” and “red” typology are all in the province of Treviso and are distributed (in whole or in part) between the municipalities of Conegliano , Susegana , Pieve di Soligo , Farra di Soligo , Refrontolo and San Pietro di Feletto , Miane , Follina , Cison di Valmarino , Revine Lago , Tarzo , Vittorio Veneto , Fregona , Sarmede , Cappella Maggiore , Cordignano , Colle Umberto , San Fior , San Vendemiano and Vidor .
- the "Colli di Conegliano" wines of the "Torchiato di Fregona" typology are (wholly or partially) in the territories of the municipalities of Fregona , Sarmede and Cappella Maggiore .
- the “Colli di Conegliano” wines of the “Refrontolo” typology are (wholly or partly) in the areas of the communes of Refrontolo , Pieve di Soligo and San Pietro di Feletto .
The area overlaps with the well-known Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene , where the popular sparkling wine Prosecco is produced. To distinguish it, the still wines of the region have been summarized in the DOCG "Colli di Conegliano".

Grape varieties
- Wines with the designation "Colli di Conegliano" (without additional designation) are white wines that may be made from the following grape varieties: at least 30% Manzoni bianco , at least 30% Pinot Bianco and / or Chardonnay and a maximum of 10% Sauvignon and / or Riesling .
- Wines with the designation "Colli di Conegliano Rosso" are red wines that may be made from the following grape varieties: Cabernet franc , Cabernet Sauvignon , Marzemino and Merlot (no more than 10% per variety) and Merlot (no more than 40%). Furthermore, the Incrocio Manzoni 2.15 and / or Refosco grape varieties can be contained up to a maximum of 20%.
- Wines with the designation "Colli di Conegliano Refrontolo" and "Colli di Conegliano Refrontolo Passito" are red wines that may be made from the following grape varieties: Marzemino 95–100% and a maximum of 5% other red grape varieties that are permitted for cultivation in the Province of Treviso .
- Wines with the designation "Colli di Conegliano Torchiato di Fregona" are white Passito wines made from the following grape varieties: Glera , at least 30%, Verdiso , at least 20%, Boschera , at least 25% and a maximum of 15% other white Grape varieties approved for cultivation in the Province of Treviso.
