Refrontolo is a northeastern Italian community (Italian comune ) with 1,688 inhabitants (December 31, 2019) in the Province of Treviso in Veneto . The municipality is located about 28.5 kilometers north-northwest of Treviso .

history

Presumably it is a Longobard foundation from the 10th century. The place is first mentioned in a document in 1075.

The Colli di Conegliano Refrontolo passito is a wine that is grown here.

Attractions

Molinetto della Croda: The historic mill dates from the 17th century and was in operation until 1953. After years in which it was uninhabited and neglected, it began to be restored and rebuilt true to the original. In 1991 the old mill became the property of the municipality of Refrontolo and is now a popular destination for school classes and tourists.
