Mansuè is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5030 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Treviso in Veneto . The municipality is located about 29 kilometers northeast of Treviso and about 18 kilometers southwest of Pordenone . Mansuè borders directly on the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The eastern boundary of the municipality is the Livenza .

history

In pre-Christian times the area was populated by the Venetians . With the 3rd century BC the area was then under Roman influence. The Hungarians invaded during the Great Migration and devastated the area. Until its end in 1797, the village and its surrounding parts belonged to the Republic of Venice .
