Carbonera is a northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,318 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Treviso in Veneto . The municipality is located about 4 kilometers northeast of Treviso .

history

The first mentions of Carboneras date from the years 1115 and 1121: Once in a document from a brotherhood of Clunys when a monastery was handed over and another time in a will from an Oderico of Carboneras. A well-known building is the Tiepolo Passi villa .

Economy and Transport

The company Mayer Braun Germany produces rat poisons at the Carbonera site . The A27 autostrada runs through the municipality . The Treviso Nord junction alone is partly in the municipality.
