Gorgo al Monticano is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4065 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Treviso in Veneto . The municipality is located about 27.5 kilometers northeast of Treviso on the Monticano and borders directly on the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . Until 1886 the community was only called Gorgo .

The former Strada Statale 53 Postumia runs through the municipality from Vicenza to Portogruaro . The Gorgo al Monticano train station is on the Treviso-Portogruaro railway line.
