Maser is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5150 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Treviso in Veneto . The municipality is located about 26 kilometers northwest of Treviso .

history

The village of Maser was probably founded between the 11th and 13th centuries. The first written mention comes from the year 1260. Andrea Palladio built the Villa Barbaro here .
