Verdiso is an autochthonous white wine variety from northern Italy. It is typically grown in the area around the towns of Conegliano , Vittorio Veneto and Asolo . It is approved in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region. In 1999 a planted vineyard area of 357 hectares was raised.
The late-ripening variety is vigorous and high-yielding. However, it is susceptible to the raw rot . The straw-colored fresh white wines find their way into the DOC - wines Colli di Conegliano .
