Massimo Iosa Ghini

Massimo Iosa Ghini (* 1959 in Bologna ) is an Italian architect and designer.

Life

Ghini studied architecture in Florence and graduated from the Milan Polytechnic. Since 1985 he has been part of the avant-garde design movements in Italy such as Bolidismo, of which he is the founder, and a member of Ettore Sottsass's Memphis group . During this time he opened the Iosa Ghini studio in Bologna and Milan. Since then, Massimo Iosa Ghini has designed products and has been the Art Direction of leading Italian and international companies. His portfolio as an architect includes the design of architectural objects, cultural and commercial installations as well as chain stores around the world, including the Ferrari stores in Europe, the USA and Asia, as well as various hotels in Europe (from Budapest to Nice) as well as Alitalia's airport facilities.
