Masters of Dance is a German dance - talent show .

concept

At Masters of Dance , candidates compete who are already active as dancers. The concept is similar to the Got to Dance dance show broadcast from 2013 to 2015 . In auditions, the candidates show their skills in front of a jury consisting of dance choreographer Nikeata Thompson , YouTuber Julien Bam , Flying Steps boss Vartan Bassil and dance trainer Dirk Heidemann . Similar to The Voice , the jurors form teams from the advancing dancers.

20 candidates aged 17 to 31 proved themselves in episode 1 in Hip-Hop , Latin , Contemporary , Popping , Locking , Fusion , Ballroom , Urban Dance , Ballet , Jazz and House . Damian Kruczek, Fabio Rothmund & Khea Gürtler, Justyna Leutner & Justine Rollinger, Nick Diekmann & Fiona Bliedtner, Julia Sophie Ladner, 1st Cut and D-Squared were eliminated.

Episode 2

20 candidates between the ages of 18 and 41 danced for the auditions, whereas eleven other auditions were not shown completely. THREE-D, Berkay & Jelena, Kris Jobson, Primetime Crew and Glauber Lucas Mendes-Silva were eliminated.

Episode 3

In the 3rd episode, the jurors were allowed to decide who started from their group. There were many different dance styles and the dancers danced for their team. In the end, Reginaldo Kingsley, Ivan Dubinin and Tim Schmitz were eliminated because of the following result:

  1. Team Vartan
  2. Team Nikeata
  3. Team Julien (has to let one out)
  4. Team Dirk (has to drop two)

Episode 4

In this episode, Team Dirk was eliminated as the team with the lowest number of points.

Episode 5

After a few team duels, the Nikeata team was thrown out of the race. In the final company duel with all dancers, Team Vartan defeated Team Julien. Vartan Bassil selected “Patrox” (Patrick De Souza Campelo Feldmann) and Samia Hofmann from his six dancers for the final battle for 50,000 euros, which “Patrox” won.
