Matías Duffard , full name Matías Nicolás Duffard Villarreal (born April 27, 1989 in Las Piedras ), is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to the club, 1.79 meters or, according to other sources, 1.77 meters or 1.80 meters tall midfielder Duffard played for the Uruguayan second division club Plaza Colonia from the 2008/09 season to 2013 . The statistics show a second division (no goal) for him in the 2009/10 season. In the two following seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12 he ran 17 (no goal) and 20 times (one goal) in the Segunda División . In 2013 he joined Plaza Colonia's league rivals Huracán FC . At the Montevideo-based club, he played 13 second division games in the 2013/14 season and scored two goals. At the end of January 2014, he switched to the first division club Juventud . In the rest of the 2013/14 season he was used five times (no goal) in the Primera División . In the 2014/15 season he was used 22 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season, he made 27 first division appearances (one goal) and four completed games (one goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In the 2016 season he made 14 top division appearances (one goal). At the beginning of January 2017, the Delfín Sporting Club signed him . So far (as of February 28, 2017) he played in three league games for the Ecuadorians (no goal).
