Matador BBQs One-Day Cup 2016/17

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Matador BBQs One-Day Cup 2016/17 was the 48th National List A cricket - Championship in Australia . The competition was held between October 1 and 23, 2016 between six Australian first-class representations of the states and one representation of the Australian national cricket team . In the final, New South Wales beat Queensland with 6 wickets.

format

The seven teams played in a group once against each other team. There were four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point was awarded if, in one sense, one's own run number exceeded that of the opponent by 1.25 times, and another point if it was even more than double that of the opponent. Furthermore, it was possible that teams were deducted points if, for example, they played too slowly. The first in the group qualified directly for the final, while the second and third in the group played a semi-final.

Stages

Unlike last year, the games were not only played in the North Sydney Oval in Sydney , but also in the WACA Ground in Perth and on the Allan Border Field in Brisbane .
