Mathias Henkel

Mathias Henkel (born March 25, 1947 in Marburg an der Lahn ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1999 to 2003 .

education and profession

Henkel attended elementary school in Marburg, Kirchen (Sieg) and Münster as well as high school in Büren (Westphalia) and Münster, where he also passed his Abitur. After his military service as a tank driver in Handorf near Münster, he studied also in Munster, law . He then worked as a bus driver in the travel service in Greven , before moving to BSAG in Bremen in April 1976 , where he was first a bus driver in the regular service, then traffic foreman, office manager of the legal department and bus and tram driver, before he was released as a works council and then depot manager in Huchting , project manager as well as depot and branch manager in Neue Vahr . He then became head of the quality management department. At BSAG, Henkel was also a member of the works and supervisory boards.

Henkel became a member of the CDU in October 1987, after becoming a member of the CDA in March 1987 . In April 1996 he was elected regional chairman of the CDA. From 1995 to 1999 he sat on the advisory board of the local office in Schwachhausen and from 1999 to 2003 in the Bremen citizenship .
