Mathias Müller (politician, 1970)

Mathias Müller (born March 1, 1970 in Biel ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ), professional officer and author .

Life

Mathias Müller has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since 2014 .

Mathias Müller studied work and organizational psychology as well as media studies at the University of Bern .

Professionally, he is a colonel in the General Staff of the Swiss Army . He was in command of the Swiss Armed Forces Competence Center for Sports in 2011. From 2012 to 2015 he was in command of the Infantry Officer School . From 2016 to 2018 he served as allocated staff officer on the staff of the then Chief of the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sports ( VBS ), Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin operates. Since 2018, Müller has been in command of the Swiss Army Recruitment .

In 2016 his book “How do you decide? Leadership examples from practice ”at Werd & Weberverlag. The book contains 50 short stories and was illustrated by the Dutch-Swiss artist Ted Scapa .

Since July 2018 he has been President of the Lyss Ice Skate Club ( SC Lyss ).

Mathias Müller is married and has three children.
