Mathias Venier

Mathias Venier (born May 31, 1984 in Zams , Tyrol ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

Mathias Venier attended elementary school in Zams from 1990 to 1994 and then from 1994 to 1999 the lower level of the Bundesrealgymnasium in Landeck . From 1999 to 2003 he was a student at the commercial school in Landeck. After that, Mathias Venier was employed by his parents' company, who run a petrol station . In 2006 he completed his military service in the armed forces .

He was involved in politics from an early age. In 2001 he joined the FPÖ and in 2007 - at the age of only 23 years - was elected district chairman of his party for the Tyrolean district of Landeck . In 2010 Venier was elected to the Zams municipal council for the FPÖ, of which he was a member until 2011. On October 18, 2011, after the resignation of National Council member Werner Königshofer, he was sworn in as the youngest FPÖ member of the legislative period to the National Council. At the end of September 2013, he left again.

Mathias Venier lives in a community and is the father of a son.
