Mathieu Demy
Mathieu Demy (born October 15, 1972 in Paris , France ) is a French actor , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Mathieu Demy is the son of Agnès Varda and Jacques Demy . His half-sister is the costume designer Rosalie Varda . He made his acting debut in 1977 in the drama One Sings, The Other Doesn't, directed by his mother . After he starred again in a film by his mother with Human Faces in 1981 , he played a leading role for the first time with the portrayal of Julien in the drama Die Zeit mit Julien, again staged by his mother . Since then he has been able to establish himself as an actor with films such as One Hundred and One Nights , When We Grow Up and, most recently, the award-winning tomboy .
Since his directorial debut with the short film Le plafond , for which he also wrote the screenplay, he has directed several short films and made his debut in 2011 with the drama Americano as a director for feature films. Since 2015 he has been involved as a director in the series Bureau of Legends .
