Matthew Joseph Menna

Matthäus Joseph Menna (born August 10, 1767 in Würzburg , † February 2, 1837 there ) was a German painter . His specialty was portrait painting , for which he received numerous commissions from abroad. Menna was a student of Johann Christoph Fesel , painted mostly in pastel and was able to skillfully depict the people to be portrayed.
