Matthias Anklam
Matthias Anklam (born October 5, 1968 ) is a German football referee .
Anklam has been a DFB referee since 1993 and whistles for USC Paloma Hamburg . Since the 1998/1999 season he has managed 83 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and is an assistant referee in the 1st Bundesliga . Since 2005 Matthias Anklam has also been able to gain international experience in assistant assignments in the UEFA Cup and in some international friendship matches.
The accountant from Buchholz (Nordheide) is married and has four children.
He has not whistled in the 2nd Bundesliga since the 2008/2009 season. Instead, he works as a specialized assistant.
