Matthias Hoene

Matthias Hoene (* in Singapore ) is a German director , film producer and screenwriter .

Life

Hoene was born to German parents in Singapore and grew up in West Berlin . After the reunification he moved to London and studied at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design . He started producing short films and commercials. Advertisers were for example Dyson , Saab , Nissan and Vodafone . He also produced a music video for Fatboy Slim . On behalf of the Saatchi & Saatchi agency , he shot a commercial for Club 18-30 , which was awarded a Golden Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2002. In 2012 he produced his first feature film, Cockneys vs Zombies .
