Matthias Lauber (born January 24, 1977 in Visp ; † June 6, 2010 in Nendaz ) was a Swiss ice hockey goalkeeper .

Career

Matthias Lauber came from the offspring of the EHC Visp . In his career he played in the first league , from which he rose in 1999 with HC Sierre , in the National League B and in the National League A , where he won the Swiss championship title in 2003 with HC Lugano . In 2006 he ended his playing career.

Lauber celebrated on 6 June 2010 at the age of 33 years suicide .

International

He was part of the Swiss U18 junior national team at the U18 European Championship in 1995.
