Matthias Seelig

Matthias Seelig (* 1949 in Marburg ) is a German screenwriter and film producer .

Matthias Seelig graduated from the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium in Herne in 1967 .

He began working as a screenwriter in the mid-1970s. For the mini-series Sekt or Selters , he and Erich Bar received the Adolf Grimme Bronze Prize . Since 2004 he has produced several Tatort episodes for WDR.
