Matthieu Chalmé (born October 7, 1980 in Bruges , Gironde department ) is a French football player on the position of right full-back in the service of Girondins Bordeaux . His jersey number is 21.

Career

In 2002 Chalmé moved from FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin to the French first division for Lille OSC . After 128 league appearances for OSC Lille and winning the UI Cup in 2004, Chalmé moved in 2007 to league rivals Girondins Bordeaux, where he signed a four-year contract. Here he was already a fixture and also played in the UEFA Cup . At the end of the 2007/08 season he was able to celebrate the runner-up title.

In the winter of the 2012/13 season he was awarded to AC Ajaccio .
