Maty Noyes (born August 25, 1997 in Corinth , Mississippi ) is an American singer-songwriter .

biography

Noyes was born in Corinth, Mississippi, United States, and moved to Nashville at the age of 16 . A short time later she settled in Los Angeles , where she still lives today.

In 2013 she released her first EP Maty Noyes , which was later removed from music portals. In 2014 she signed a contract with the US music label Lava Records. In the same year she met the Canadian musician The Weeknd through the joint producer Stephan Moccio , for whom she recorded the vocals for his song Angel .

Noyes achieved international chart placements through her participation in the song Stay by the Norwegian DJ Kygo .
