Career

Maurice Paul started playing football in the youth of TV Semd. From there he went to the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt . On April 27, 2009 it was announced that he would change from the youth of the former Bundesliga club to the professional team of the third division Kickers Offenbach for the 2009/10 season .

At first Paul played for the second team in the fourth-class Hessen League . He was used for the first time on matchday 17: on October 25, 2009 he was in the starting eleven for the game against VfB Marburg . In the 29th minute he saved a penalty from Masih Saighani when the score was 0-0. In the following period he became a regular goalkeeper and came to 17 missions during the season. Paul came to 18 missions in the following season. In the 3rd league season 2011/12 he played as a professional for the first time. On the first day of the match, Paul was substituted on for the injured goalkeeper Robert Wulnikowski in the 61st minute in the match against 1. FC Heidenheim when the score was 1: 1 . In the long run, however, he couldn't get past Offenbach's fan icon Wulnikowski and after his contract with OFC expired in summer 2012, Maurice Paul joined the regional league team VfB Germania Halberstadt in October 2012 . There he was offered an extension of his contract for the 2013/2014 season, which he had not accepted.

In January 2014 Paul joined the regional division TuS Koblenz until the end of the season . However, Paul did not play a single competitive game for Koblenz and did not receive a new contract for the 2014/15 season. Paul then moved to the Association League Hessen and joined the SC Hessen Dreieich .

Former handball player Michael Paul is his uncle.
