Mauricio Solís Mora (born December 13, 1972 in Heredia ) is a former Costa Rican soccer player .

Solís started playing football at his hometown club CS Herediano . There the midfielder came to his first appearances in the Costa Rican first division from 1990 onwards. With the club, which was still the Costa Rican record champion at the time, he also won their last championship title in 1993. He then went abroad for three years, briefly playing at Derby County in England, in Guatemala and at San José Clash in the USA. In 2000 he returned to Costa Rica for two years to the then series champion LD Alajuelense and won the national championship twice. After two years in Greece and Mexico, another year followed with Alajuelense with the third championship title in 2005. Since then he has played in Guatemala with CSD Comunicaciones .

The internationally experienced Mauricio Solís has been a fixture in the Costa Rican national team for many years and has made the most appearances since his debut in 1993 after the record national player Luis Marín with 110 games. Like Marín, he took part in the 2002 World Cup in Asia and the 2006 World Cup in Germany and played in all World Cup games in his country.
