Mauro Da Dalto
Mauro Da Dalto (born April 8, 1981 in Conegliano ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Mauro Da Dalto began his career in 2006 with the Italian ProTeam Liquigas-Bianchi , after having been a stagiaire there the previous year . In his first race for this team, the Tour Down Under , he was ninth on the second leg behind the winner Allan Davis . His best placement in an international road race came with third place on the eighth stage of the 2008 Deutschland Tour . He contested five Grand Tours , all of which he finished in the lower ranks.
After a serious fall on the Tour of California in 2013 , he was no longer used with his Cannondale team. His contract was not renewed amid allegations that De Dalto was involved in the doping affair of his previous team, Lampre .
