Mauro Daniel Quiroga (born December 7, 1989 in Concepción del Uruguay ) is an Argentine football player on the position of a striker .

Quiroga began his career at his hometown club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Concepción del Uruguay , with which he was under contract from 2008 to 2010. In 2010 he signed with the Spanish second division UD Las Palmas , where he spent the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons. He then moved to league rivals CD Lugo and again a year later to Deportivo Alavés , who at that time also belonged to the Segunda División .

In 2014 Quiroga returned to Argentina , where he played for Atlético Rafaela , CA San Martín de Tucumán and Argentinos Juniors, as well as his youth club Gimnasia Concepción. Via the Chilean club CDP Curicó Unido , Quiroga came to the Apertura 2019 to the Mexican Club Necaxa and was immediately top scorer in the Mexican league with 12 goals scored in the league round .
