Maurus Kallina (born September 17, 1844 in Velká Bíteš , Austrian Empire ; † May 4, 1913 in Budapest , Austria-Hungary ) was an Austro-Hungarian architect .

Life

Kallina attended the Prague Polytechnic and then from 1867 to 1869 the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . In Vienna he became an employee of Otto Wagner , who sent him to Budapest as a construction manager to build the synagogue in Rumbach utca . Kallina then stayed in Budapest and started her own business in 1874. From 1900 to 1910 he worked with the architect Aladár Arkay in an office community.
