Max Amling
Max Amling (born April 28, 1934 in Eibelstadt ; † April 7, 2017 in Friedberg , Bavaria ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Life
Max Amling was a plumber and youth secretary at the DGB . From 1970 to 1981 DGB chairman in the Augsburg district . He joined the SPD in 1952, joined the Jusos and was its chairman in Augsburg from 1962 to 1969. From 1966 to 1972 he was a member of the Augsburg city council and from June to November 1972 he was deputy chairman of the SPD city council group.
From December 13, 1972 to December 20, 1990, Amling was a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) in the German Bundestag for the Free State of Bavaria for five electoral terms .
