Max Boeckh
Max Ludwig Boeckh (born May 8, 1843 in Karlsruhe ; † March 10, 1913 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .
Life
Boeckh was born the son of a high school professor and, after attending high school in Karlsruhe, studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Heidelberg . During his studies in 1862 he became a member of the Teutonia Freiburg fraternity . In 1869 he passed his second state examination in law, took part in the Franco-German War of 1870/71 as a war volunteer and then became a lawyer in Karlsruhe . Here he was city councilor from 1875 and in the district assembly from 1880 . He was a member of the National Liberal Party , for which he sat from 1905 to 1913 as a member of the first chamber of the Baden state parliament .
