Max Dohner

Max Dohner (born July 15, 1954 ) is a Swiss writer and journalist .

Life

Dohner grew up in Uetikon on Lake Zurich. His father was a shift worker, his mother a housewife. He studied German and philosophy at the University of Zurich , after which he worked as a German teacher. From 1980 to 1985 he lived in Nicaragua and worked as a language teacher at the Central American University (UCA) in Managua as a translator and interpreter. Max Dohner has been a writer and journalist since 1985. He is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland (AdS) and works as a permanent writer for az Nordwestschweiz , the third largest daily newspaper in Switzerland.
