Max Engelhardt (actor)
Max Engelhardt (* around 1870 in Leipzig ; † January 9, 1941 in Buchen (Odenwald) ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Engelhardt began his stage work in his hometown. Afterwards he was engaged at several large and small theaters, including Sondershausen, Stuttgart, Reval, Kiel, Hamburg, Strasbourg in Alsace, Bremen, Stettin etc. and in 1900 became a member of the ensemble of the court theater in Neustrelitz .
Engelhardt represented the character subject with great success and was effectively supported by his sonorous organ, sharp characterization skills, good mask and discreet and elegant play.
