Max Grothe

Max Grothe (* 7. September 1899 in Grünrade at Neudamm ; † 27. January 1968 ) was a German politician of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending elementary school , Grothe, who was of Protestant faith, completed an agricultural and commercial training. He became chief executive of the Pomeranian farming community in Stettin and a member of the board of the Bauernland for Pomeranian settlement society . He was also a member of the Moorkultur AG supervisory board . After the Second World War he came to Schleswig-Holstein as a displaced person .

Political party

Since 1932 Grothe was a member of the SPD.

MP

The Landtag Schleswig-Holstein belonged Grothe from 1947 until the 1950s. He was also a member of the district council for the Plön district .

Public offices

Grothe was Mayor of Preetz from 1946 to 1959 .
