Max Höning (born May 27, 1993 in Münster ) is a German handball player.

Höning began to play handball at SUS Olfen and switched to ASV Senden in the C-youth. After the A-youth in the summer of 2013, he made the leap into the reserve team of TBV Lemgo . At first he was active for the HSG Handball Lemgo until he was able to gradually fight his way into the professional squad and became the "back up" for Rolf Hermann in his position in the right backcourt. For the 2014/15 season was used as a replacement for the outgoing Julian Possehl . In November 2016 he was loaned to the second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen until the end of the 2016/17 season. He then joined the Swiss club TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen .

In addition to handball, he is completing an apprenticeship as a banker at Sparkasse Lemgo .
