Max Hrelja (born January 30, 1998 ) is a Swedish hurdler who specializes in the 110-meter distance .

Athletic career and life

Max Hrelja gained his first international experience in 2015 when he finished fifth at the Youth World Championships in Cali in 13.56 seconds. The following year he reached the semi-finals at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he was eliminated with 13.61 s and in 2017 he was fourth at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in 13.54 s. In 2019 he took part in the 60-meter hurdles at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , but retired there with 7.92 seconds in the first round. He then finished eighth in the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 13.98 s and retired from the Swedish 4 x 100 meter relay with 40.39 s in the lead.

In 2019 Hrelja became Swedish champion in the 110-meter hurdles outdoors and in 2020 indoor champion over 60 m hurdles.
