Max Müller (handball player)

Max Müller (born May 7, 1945 in Niederbühl ) is a former German national handball player who competed for the Federal Republic.

Career

He became German champion with Frisch Auf Göppingen in 1970 and 1972. He began his career at SV Niederbühl, a traditional club of the South Baden Handball Association (SHV). In addition to Göppingen, he was also active in the Bundesliga for TSV 1896 Rintheim .

In the German national handball team Müller worked in 51 international matches until 1972, in which he scored 110 goals. His greatest success with the German national team was fifth place at the 1970 World Cup .
