Max Müller (pseudonym, actually Thomas Müller; * 1963 in Wolfsburg ) is a German musician and mother's bandleader .

biography

Müller grew up in the Wolfsburg district of Reislingen and founded the punk band Honkas in 1980 , with whom Müller released the EP Lied für Fritz .

After moving to Berlin in 1981, he was briefly involved in the Tödliche Doris , his brother Wolfgang's project. Among other things, he and Nikolaus Utermöhlen wrote the book for the 1981 film " The Life of Sid Vicious ".

As the bassist and guitarist of the band Vroammm! Müller took part in the Berlin Festival of Genialer Dilletanten in 1981 .

In 1982 he founded the band Campingsex , with the 1984 LP 1914! originated. In 1982 he was supposed to start as a singer with Die Doctors , but since he did not appear at their very first band rehearsal and did not contact them anymore, Die Doctors only left it with their trio. After a dispute within the band during camping sex, the band broke up in 1986 and Müller founded the band Mutter with the remaining drummer Florian Koerner von Gustorf .

In addition to his engagement as a singer with Mutter, Max Müller also works as a soloist, here working with the computer is in the foreground. In 1989 he made his debut with the single We stand here every day / She is from Holland . In 1995 he presented his solo CD Max Müller , followed in 1999 by Endlich tot and the LP Filmmusik (2004). Müller wrote music for Jörg Buttgereit's films and for theater performances at the Bochum theater.
