Max Malini

Max K. Malini (born August 14, 1873 in Ostrów in Galicia as Max Katz Breit ; † October 3, 1942 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) was an American magician .

At the height of his career, he appeared before several US presidents , received invitations to special performances at Buckingham Palace , and received gifts from crowned heads in Europe and Asia.

As a young man, Malini and his family had emigrated from Europe to the United States (New York City). Because of his physical size (1.57 m) in connection with his presence and assertiveness, he was called the Napoleon of Magic .
