Max Nordhausen

Max Nordhausen (born April 2, 1876 in Berlin ; † August 2, 1963 ) was a German botanist at the University of Marburg .

In 1897 he received his doctorate at the University of Berlin , followed by his habilitation at the University of Kiel in 1902 . In 1914 he became ao. Professor appointed to Marburg (Lahn) , full professor there in 1921 and emeritus in 1944. Nordhausen signed the declaration of the university professors of the German Reich in 1914 and the declaration of the German professors to Adolf Hitler in November 1933 .
