Max Schütz

Max Schütz (born August 10, 1894 in Greiz in Vogtland , † April 25, 1961 in Offenbach am Main ) was a German politician (KPD).

Schütz attended elementary school . He then completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a member of the Navy . After the war, Schütz joined the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). From 1918 to 1921 Schütz worked in the railway service. From 1921 he was a full-time trade unionist and party official. In the KPD he was initially close to the Ruth Fischer group.
