Max Vogel (born September 22, 1856 in Fordon , † March 24, 1933 in Danzig ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a later city treasurer, Vogel studied law and camera sciences in Jena , Berlin and Breslau after attending grammar school in Marienwerder . During his studies in 1876 he became a member of the Germania Jena fraternity . After traineeship and doctorate to become a Dr. iur. with subsequent assessor examination in 1884 he became a lawyer in Konitz , where he became a member of the magistrate and the city ​​council . He also belonged to the district council and the provincial parliament of the province of West Prussia . He became a privy councilor . He later moved to Danzig.
