Max Weber (athlete)

Max Weber (born January 24, 1922 in Laucha ; † August 29, 2007 in Leipzig ) was a German athlete and Olympic participant who - starting for the GDR - was successful in the 50 km walk from the late 1950s to 1960 . At the European Championships in 1958 he won the bronze medal (4: 19: 58.6 h). At the 1960 Olympic Games , he finished 13th (4:44:48 h). He started in a team from both German states.

Max Weber belonged to the SC Dynamo Berlin . During his competition time he was 1.82 m tall and weighed 65 kg.
