Maxence Prévot (born April 9, 1997 in Belfort ) is a French football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Prévot began his career at AS Essert . In 2004 he joined the youth team at FC Sochaux . In September 2013 he was against AS Moulins for the first time in the squad of the B-team from Sochaux. In September 2014 he finally made his debut in the CFA when he came on as a substitute for Hillel Konaté on matchday four of the 2014/15 season against Jura Sud Foot at half-time . By the end of the season he came to four missions in the fourth highest French division.

In December 2015 he was against the AJ Auxerre for the first time in the professional squad. He made his Ligue 2 debut in January 2016 when he started against Paris FC on matchday 22 of the 2015/16 season . By the end of the season he made four appearances for the professionals in Ligue 2 and eight appearances for the B-team in the CFA, from which one had to relegate at the end of the season.

In the 2016/17 season Prévot made 24 appearances in Ligue 2 and four appearances for the reserve in CFA 2. In the 2017/18 season he was the first goalkeeper of Sochaux for the first time and made 32 appearances . In the 2018/19 season Prévot was the captain of Sochaux, but from matchday 19 to 27 he had to make way in goal for Lawrence Ati Zigi . By the end of the season he came to 29 missions.

National team

Prévot completed a game for the French U-16s in March 2013 . In November 2016 he made his only appearance for the French U-20 team against the Netherlands .

In June 2017 he made his debut against Albania for the U-21 selection . With this he also took part in the European Championship in 2019 , where he was eliminated with France in the semifinals. Prévot was not used during the tournament.
