Maximilian Gottwald

Maximilian Gottwald (born November 14, 1986 ) is a former German basketball player .

career

The two-meter-tall winger trained in the youth department of the DJK Würzburg , played for the men's team of the DJK in the 2nd regional league and made the jump into the extended squad of the Bundesliga club TSK Würzburg . During the game year 2004/05 he booked three short appearances for Würzburg in the basketball league .

In 2005 Gottwald moved to the Oldenburger TB in the regional league, in the following season 2006/07 he came to a Bundesliga game in the jersey of the EWE Baskets Oldenburg , the cooperation partner of the OTB , in addition to his appearances in the OTB shirt . In the 2007/08 season he was a member of the Bayern Munich squad (then Regionalliga), and in 2008/09 he played for München Basket in the 2. Bundesliga ProB . Then Gottwald returned to Würzburg and was (partly as a player coach) for SC Heuchelhof in the 2nd regional league in action. In the 2014/15 season he worked as an assistant coach at the TG Würzburg in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB.
